Cheetah Manicure

Manicures come in all sizes, colors and textures, so there s plenty to choose from. There are no limitations, you can have any length you wish and you can use any color you like even if it seems a little outrageous to the people who see it. In our days there is a trend to create nail art. This means that somebody paints things on the nails. These can be shapes that can be recognized or just lines or curves. Hearts and flowers have always been the favorites but in the last period patterns became very popular, especially animal patterns so you can see women with zebra patterns, tiger patterns, leopard patterns or even cheetah patterns on their nails.

You might think that these are hard to create but in fact it is quite simple and in this article I am going to tell you how to create a cheetah manicure. The first thing you have to do, just as in case of any other manicure, is to remove any remains of polish using polish remover. When you are done you should make your manicure (clip it, file it to have the length and shape you would like and if you would like, push the cuticles).

Once you are ready you can apply the first layer of polish. It is advisable to apply a base coat to protect the nails from all the damaging effects nail polish might have. Leave it to dry and then apply a layer of gold-yellow nail polish that will be the base color. After it has dried comes the harder part because this needs a little bit of artistic skills, but most of the times it is enough to have steady hands.

It is best to have black polish that has very thin brush, but if you don’t have a thin brush you could also use a toothpick; the result is almost the same. All you have to do is to draw little C’s that join so they will create a kind of oval. The nails will look very nice if you draw the C’s to random places so there will be no pattern, just as in the case of real cheetahs. Repeat this step until you have enough spots on each nail. Once the spots have dried you should apply a top coat to protect the manicure from getting damaged. After the top coat has dried you are ready and I think you will realize that it wasn’t hard at all.
