In our days there is a debate whether French or American manicure is the best. The truth is that sometimes French manicure can be a little overpowering, so it is better to choose the American one.
American manicures use a pale shade of pink (that seems a lot more neutral than the colors used in the case of French manicure) and an opaque white for the tips. At most of the nail salons it costs about %10 to get an American manicure without acrylics and you might get a hand massage as well. If you would prefer to do it on your own, here is what you will need: polish remover, cotton balls, manicure, tools, a light pink, beige polish or any other neutral color, an opaque white polish, manicure tapes, top coat and base coat.
