Light is extremely important because the manicurist may hurt the client while she is taking care of the cuticles, for example. Light is also important while polishing especially in the case of more elaborate designs.

These are the more important characteristics, but there other characteristics as well that need to be taken into consideration, like the color of the desk, or the material that the desk is made of.  In the case of some online catalogues one can choose from a wide variety of colors regarding plastic, upholstery and laminates.

Most of the desks have drawers as well, which is very practical for manicurists since they have a lot of instruments that are good to be kept out of sight. Who would like to sit to a messy table? These drawers allow the professionals to keep the instruments in order, so when they need something they won’t have to look all over for it.



A very useful feature of the table can be the vent. In the case of some desks you can choose whether you would like it with or without a vent. Of course choosing to have one increases the price, but most of the professionals say that it is worth it, because the vent makes their work a lot easier. The price if a vented manicure table varies between a couple of hundred dollars and several thousand dollars. One can be a good manicurist whether she has or not a vented manicure table.

I think that if a manicurist is at the beginning of her career, it is better to get a cheaper desk and then to buy more expensive ones, if the person in question can afford it.
